This varies from patient to patient. Your treatment plan will be tailored to suit you as an individual to ensure a speedy and thorough recovery. It will be outlined to you on your first visit to the clinic.

No, anyone can come to our clinic as we are primary contact practitioners.

Yes, most insurers will cover you for chiropractic treatment. We are covered by Bupa, Vitality, AXA, WPA, Simplyhealth, Aviva, Cigna, Allianz and most cash plans. If your provider is not listed, you may still be covered. We recommend contacting your insurer directly to confirm your policy details prior to your visit.

For Bupa: You must request your authorisation code beforehand, and give this and your membership information to us on your first visit so that we can bill the insurance company directly through their billing platform. Please ensure you book in with Dr Blair Boles who is our recognised consultant for Bupa.

For all other companies, we will provide an invoice to claim back your treatment fees. We do not liaise directly with other insurers, so we recommend checking your policy limits prior to your appointment. Please note that some insurers may not reimburse the full cost of treatment.

You don’t need to bring anything specific with you and you can wear your normal everyday clothes.

Chiropractic is a non-invasive therapy and is very safe when performed by a registered chiropractor. Your chiropractor will take a medical history and give you a thorough examination to assess what your specific needs are and what the best treatment plan will be for you. The chiropractor will only adjust you if it is appropriate to do so. Generally, chiropractic adjustments do not hurt, however there may be a moment of mild discomfort following an adjustment as the muscles start to relax. There should be no cause for concern.

Yes. We treat a vast range of patients, from new born babies to heavily pregnant women. Treatment is adjusted accordingly. We have a specialist pregnancy cushion which allows you to lie comfortably on your front during your treatment.

Not all patients require imaging. If X-rays or MRIs are needed, we will refer you to the correct facility.

On your first visit, a thorough history is taken when you tell us about your complaint as well as your medical history. This is followed by a physical examination. After that, we will diagnose and explain your condition and how we can help you. In the majority of cases, patients are treated on their first visit to the clinic. Read more

To do so they must have undertaken a minimum of 4-5 years of study at an accredited institution. Areas of study include: anatomy, physiology, pathology, neurology, orthopaedics, nutrition, diagnosis, radiology and pharmacology. All of our chiropractors are Doctors of Chiropractic, with a Master's degree in Chiropractic (MChiro).

Chiropractors must also complete 30 hours of annual Continuing Professional Development to remain up-to-date with their skills and knowledge.
